Engineering for Design Professionals: Part 1

This course discusses the teamwork and shared knowledge required by engineers, architects, and manufacturers, specifically in canopy and sunshade projects.

The discussion emphasizes teamwork and communication. Ramez Sayed, PE breaks down the different phases of the engineering process in canopy work and the course illustrates those key points.

Important design ideas include making correct design choices and maintaining building harmony in a way that will be structurally sound. Including the correct choices in the project ensures not only beauty, but sustainability as well.
